North Shore Power Group Inc. ("NSPG") is a 100% municipally-owned renewable energy power company, headquartered in beautiful Blind River, Ontario, on Lake Huron's North Channel. Our operations include power generation, power equipment leasing and power project operation and maintenance, with power investments across Ontario.

We construct, operate, maintain, own and lease power generating equipment and projects.

Our projects span the length and breadth of Ontario.

We sell power to Hydro One and we lease power generating equipment.

We are 100% owned by the Corporation of the Town of Blind River.

Ours is a community that has embraced renewable energy!

What We've Achieved

Installed 445 kW AC of MicroFIT projects in the Blind River and surrounding areas.

Installed 3.16 mW AC of FIT projects in Blind River, at the Arena, the hospital and the industrial park.

Job creation for installation, maintenance, administration and management of the projects.

Attracted additional solar projects to build in the area and secured additional long term work.

Generated spin-off economic benefits in the form of local purchasing.

Demonstrated that Blind River is interested in renewable energy for our future generations.

Created a revenue stream for the Town of Blind River.

Provided a source of income for our landlords and equipment lessees.

Attracted additional business to the industrial park.
